Dash Cam: DVR Recorder

Your dash cam records every drive to its own memory card. This app is how you get at that footage: browse the card, watch live view, and pull the clips you care about onto your phone. Dash Cam is a remote and a viewer for a standalone dash cam already mounted in your car. It does not record using your phone camera.

Questions

Does it work with Garmin or Nextbase?

Those two pair over Bluetooth first and hand the Wi-Fi password to their own app. Read the Wi-Fi name and password from the camera's own settings menu, join that network by hand, then open Dash Cam.

Why is there no internet while I am connected?

The camera's Wi-Fi network is a link between your phone and the camera and does not lead anywhere else. That is normal. Your usual network works again once you rejoin it.

How long does a download take?

Downloads run at roughly 2 to 5 MB/s, so a one minute 4K clip takes about a minute to copy across.

How much does it cost?

A purchase is required to use the app. It is sold weekly, yearly, or once for lifetime access, and the price in your currency is shown before you confirm.
